2. WR Breshad Perriman

The 26th-overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, University of Central Florida wide receiver Breshad Perriman never saw the field for the Baltimore Ravens during his rookie year.

However, he would spend the next two years with John Harbaugh’s club and in a total of 27 games caught a combined 43 passes for 576 yards and three scores. He would wind up in Cleveland in 2018 and snared just 16 balls in 10 contests. But Perriman amassed an impressive 340 yards with those receptions and notched a pair of touchdowns.

But this past season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the 26-year-old target came of age with strong-armed quarterback Jameis Winston pulling the trigger. He finished with career highs in receptions (36), receiving yards (645) and touchdowns (6). Those are hardly earth-shattering numbers in 14 contests (with a career-best 4 starts), but that 17.9 yards per catch is certainly eye-opening.

With Robby Anderson moving on via free agency to the Carolina Panthers, the Jets inked Perriman to a one-year, $8 million deal (via Spotrac). The 6’2”, 215-pound target could be quite the deep threat for quarterback Sam Darnold and Adam Gase’s offense and should emerge as the club’s top receiving threat in 2020.
