Cincinnati Bengals 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds
By Conor Dorney
The Bengals’ arsenal of offensive weapons figures to get stronger through the draft and with a wide receiver class as loaded as any in recent memory, this is the year to add to the position.
A.J. Green and John Ross are both slated to hit free agency following next season, so rounds three and four figure to be a great spot to help soften their potential departure. One under-the-radar name is former Texas standout, Devin Duvernay.
To say Duvernay is fast would be putting it mildly. A background as a Texas high school 100-meter champion and 4.39 40-yard dash at the Combine proved as much. But Duvernay is more than your typical burner, he’s also got a sturdy build at 5-foot-10, 200 pounds and loves punishing tacklers when given the opportunity. He has been comped quite a bit in the draft process to 49ers standout Deebo Samuel and there are certainly plenty of similarities on tape.
Zac Taylor would be ecstatic to add a player of Duvernay’s home-run ability and physicality to his offense as the team continues to build around Joe Burrow.
