2. Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

Reagor had a far better season in 2018 (72 receptions for 1,061 yards and nine touchdowns) than he did in 2019 (43 catches for 611 yards and five touchdowns), as TCU’s quarterback play was not good.

A very deep wide receiver class may push him into Day 2 of the draft, but The Score’s most recent mock has the Packers taking him at No. 30. Pro Football Focus’ latest mock has the Philadelphia Eagles taking Reagor at No. 21.

Reagor averaged 15.2 yards per catch in college, despite having lackluster quarterbacks throwing him the ball, so his big play ability is real. He is not a big target (5-foot-11), but here’s a surprising part of what Neal Driscoll of Pro Football Network had to say about Reagor.

“One thing that may surprise you, given his smaller stature, is that he excels at the contested catch.”

With his usage as a runner and a similar build, the easy comparison for Reagor is Carolina Panthers’ wide receiver Curtis Samuel. But Reagor enters the NFL with broader ability as a wide receiver, as well as being a proverbial threat to score whenever he touches the ball. The Packers could really use both of those elements.
