player. 87. . Defensive Tackle. Carolina Panthers. Derrick Brown. 7

The Carolina Panthers are going to look a lot different next season, as they are going to replace long-time starting quarterback Cam Newton under center. The new leader of this franchise will be Teddy Bridgewater, who was once considered one of the brighter young stars in the NFC when he was the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings.

During the 2020 NFL Draft, the Panthers have to do something to address the defensive side of the ball, as they also are losing future Hall of Fame linebacker Luke Kuechly. While the Panthers do not go linebacker here, they do get the best defensive tackle in the draft class, bringing in someone to solidify a weak spot up front.

Derrick Brown did not have the best NFL Scouting Combine, but he is a guy who is going to make an instant impact at the NFL level. The Panthers play in a division that is pretty explosive on the offensive side of the ball, and in Brown, they get a guy who can be disruptive in both the run, and passing game.

Jedrick Wills Jr.. 8. player. 32. . Offensive Tackle. Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals pulled off quite the heist to lock up a player that fixes one of their biggest needs this offseason at the start of free agency. Arizona was able to trade a few small assets to the Houston Texans for DeAndre Hopkins, giving second-year starting quarterback a dangerous duo at the top of the depth chart at wide receiver in Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald.

With his weapons lined up for next season, the Cardinals now need to put on the full press to protect Kyler Murray, and they do so at pick No. 8 overall. After bringing back D.J. Humphries this offseason, they add Jedrick Wills Jr. here, bringing in arguably the best offensive linemen in this draft class.

With Wills and Humphries on the bookends of this offensive line, Murray should have all the time he needs to exploit defenses next season. The Cardinals surprised some people last season, and as they continue to build around Murray, they just could be in the playoff picture when all is said and done in 2020.
