2. The Chiefs have ridiculous weapons

Travis Kelce. Tyreek Hill. Sammy Watkins. Mecole Hardman.

The Chiefs are loaded around Mahomes, in a way perhaps no other team can say about their weapons. Kelce is a likely Hall of Famer, looking for his fifth-straight 1,000-yard season. No other tight end in history has ever posted four consecutive, save Kelce.

Hill remains the biggest deep threat in the game. Despite missing most of six games last season, Hill posted 58 catches for 860 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2018, the former fifth-round pick missed no time and earned First-Team All-Pro status with 87 receptions, 1,479 yards and 12 scores.

Then there’s Hardman, who looks to be a star in the making. The rookie racked up 538 receiving yards and six touchdowns despite playing only only 44.9 percent of the offensive snaps. With an increased role in his second season, the speedster out of Georgia could threaten the 1,000-yard marker. Last year, he led the league in yards per catch at 20.7.

Factor in running back Damien Williams, receiver Demarcus Robinson and a terrific offensive line, and Mahomes’ unit is stocked.
