Indianapolis Colts 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds

5th round
Okwuegbunam (don’t ask me to spell it again) was the talk of the Combine after running an absurd 4.49 40-yard dash at 258 pounds.
Evaluators will have to decide why the former Mizzou standout’s freakish athleticism didn’t line up with his production after never eclipsing 500 yards in a season. To his credit, he was a touchdown machine (23 in 27 career games), but there is still a good deal of projection to his game.
After losing Eric Ebron in free agency, the Colts could use another athletic tight end to help stretch the field for Philip Rivers.

Pass rush help will be a consideration on Day 2 (perhaps fellow Syracuse alum Alton Robinson), but here the Colts land Indianapolis native Kendall Coleman in round six.
Coleman doesn’t have prototypical length for an edge rusher but is a relentless worker who posted 10+ tackles for loss in each of the past two seasons.
The Colts will hope the team can revive the career of former Viking Xavier Rhodes but more help is definitely needed at cornerback.
Florida International’s Stantley Thomas-Oliver III is a receiver-turned-cornerback with excellent length and size to stick as an outside corner at the NFL level. He could be on the Colts’ radar late on Day 3 or as a priority free agent.
