The San Francisco 49ers were the surprise of the NFC last year when they made it to the Super Bowl on the strength of their defense. General manager John Lynch continues to load up on that side of the ball with the drafting of Florida cornerback C.J. Henderson.

The 49ers know they can’t count on Richard Sherman for many more years, but adding Henderson now allows him to ease his way into the starting lineup and learn from Sherman before the future Hall of Famer moves along.

OT. Mekhi Becton. Scouting Report. Louisville. 14. player. 48. Pick Analysis

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the biggest winners in free agency with the signing of Brady. They didn’t have to do anything else besides that to be a big winner. Brady already has weapons with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and O.J. Howard at his disposal, but adding a 6-foot-7, 350-pound mountain of a man to the offensive line will help keep Brady upright.

Mekhi Becton wowed at the combine with his combination of rare size and speed. He can play left tackle but may be best at the right side initially in his career. Brady had Trent Brown blocking for him in New England and Becton looks like the second coming of him. This is a perfect pairing.
