NFL mock draft with every college football player eligible: Do Bengals take Joe Burrow or Trevor Lawrence?
The Denver Broncos look like they may have hit with last year’s second-round selection of quarterback Drew Lock. Now, general manager John Elway needs to give him a No. 1 receiver to work with for the better part of the next decade.
CeeDee Lamb isn’t going to light it up on the track with his timed speed but on the field, he’s an exceptional receiver with a catch radius as wide as a garage door. Pairing Lock with Lamb could be the next-best combination in the AFC West where Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill have that on lock until further notice.
For much of the 2019 college football season, Jerry Jeudy was at or near the top of many big board lists of prospect rankings. Despite all his college production and athletic profile, Jeudy was never going to go that high, but for the Atlanta Falcons to get him at No. 16, it’s highway robbery.
Jeudy gives Matt Ryan another dependable target when Julio Jones is invariably double and triple-teamed and helps replace the production lost after the Mohamed Sanu trade. Calvin Ridley is still a bit of a work-in-progress, and there may be some risk in taking another Alabama wideout, but you can never have too many pass-catchers to help support your former MVP.
