3. G Stefen Wisniewski

It’s a unit that’s been among the best in the NFL in recent years. It’s a group that features three players that have been named to at least one Pro Bowl. But it would be remiss not to notice that the offensive line of the Pittsburgh Steelers is coming off a less-than-successful year.

Perhaps the loss of position coach Mike Munchak to the Denver Broncos played a big role in the falloff. In any case, a unit featuring Maurkice Pouncey, right guard David DeCastro and left tackle Alejandro Villanueva fell short of expectations in 2019. Then came the news that veteran left guard Ramon Foster has opted for retirement.

Stefen Wisniewski joins his fifth different franchise on a bit of a roll. A second-round pick by the then-Oakland Raiders back in 2011, the interior blocker was a 16-game starter three times in his first five years in the league with the Raiders and Jaguars. While he’s made a combined 24 regular-season starts with the Eagles and Chiefs since 2016, he’s played in eight playoff games over that stretch and was the starting left guard for both Philadelphia and Kansas City during their three-game Super Bowl title runs in 2017 and ’19, respectively. The savvy pro has never earned any individual accolades but could his 10th season be very charming?
