2nd round

When asked at the 2020 NFL Combine what he loved most about playing football, Auburn’s Marlon Davidson replied, “I can literally go out there and hit a man consistently, and pound him, and the police won’t come.”

That quote should tell you everything you need to know about Davidson’s demeanor and tenacity on the field, making him a perfect fit for the Titans at the end of the second round.

Davidson was overlooked to some degree at Auburn having to play next to Derrick Brown but was a remarkably productive player in his own right. Davidson started all four years for the Tigers and ended his career with 28.5 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks.

While adding Jadeveon Clowney in free agency remains a possibility, if Jon Robinson is unable to lure the former Seahawk to Nashville, Davidson would be a nice position-versatile pass rushing option to add instead.
