Fantasy football 2020 AFC North depth chart breakdowns
By Bill Pivetz
QB: Lamar Jackson
RBs: Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards
WRs: Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin, Willie Snead
TEs: Mark Andrews
The Ravens dominated the league in Jackson’s first full season as quarterback. They went 14-2 before losing in the division round to the Titans. Jackson won MVP and rightfully so. He threw for 3,127 yards, 36 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also carried the ball 176 times for 1,206 yards and another seven scores. He is the clear-cut top quarterback for fantasy football.
Even with Jackson’s ability to run and throw, Ingram was still able to put up great numbers. He rushed for 1,018 yards and 10 touchdowns on 202 carries. Edwards also managed 133 attempts and 711 yards. Both Ingram and Edwards will be worth drafting as the Ravens continue to focus on the run. Though, Edwards may not have as many touchdowns.
The Ravens top receiver was “Hollywood” Brown. He caught 46 passes for 584 yards and seven touchdowns. Because of Jackson’s limited pass attempts, just 401 last season, the other pass catchers don’t have the same opportunities. I would avoid Boykin and Snead if possible.
Instead of targeting his No. 2 and 3 receivers, Jackson loved throwing to Andrews. The tight end led the team in receptions (64), yards (852) and touchdowns (10). He only started four games but played in 15. He’s clearly a top-five tight end and could even move into the top three.
Outside of the obvious names, I don’t see any other player having a significant impact on this offense. Jackson, Ingram, Brown and Andrews are the four playmakers. Edwards is the change-of-pace back. Even their defense and kicker will be drafting. The Ravens are one of the best teams for fantasy.
