The Jags return to the secondary in round three to add former Notre Dame standout Troy Pride Jr.

Pride Jr. had one of the best weeks of any prospect at the Senior Bowl and figures to hear his name called by the end of round three. He possesses excellent speed and short-area quickness that make him a moldable talent in the secondary.

There is some concern about his lack of ball production in college (just four career interceptions), but I think the athletic traits are too enticing to pass him up at this stage of the draft. Having added Rashaan Melvin and now Jeremy Chinn, Jacksonville can afford to be patient with his development as they figure out the best role for their system.

Pride Jr. has already had a good deal of contact with the Jags during the draft process, so expect him to be in play around this spot of the draft.
