4th round
118. player. 843. . DT. Utes . Leki Fotu
Denver’s trade for Jurrell Casey makes it pretty clear that they are intent on stopping the run next season, so why not double down with the addition of Utah’s Leki Fotu in round four.
Fotu is a big boy who has made his fair share of offensive players look like ragdolls over the years. His skills continue to develop as a pass rusher but Fotu’s surprising athleticism for his size make it a possibility for him to be routinely in the 4-5 sack range down the road as a pro.
The team has already met with Fotu during the pre-draft process and adding him to the defensive rotation with Casey should induce nightmares for any team looking to run the ball in the middle of Denver’s defense.
