Fourth Round

822. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Albert Okwuegbunam. player. TE. Missouri Tigers. 119

Unless the Falcons covet the best tight end prospect in the draft and want to use their No. 47 overall pick on Cole Kmet out of Notre Dame, it would serve the Dirty Birds to wait until the fourth round to land another tight end to pair with Hayden Hurst. At No. 119 in the fourth round, Atlanta could end up with Albert Okwuegbunam out of the University of Missouri.

Okwuegbunam was a two-time first-teamer in the SEC, catching balls from Drew Lock in 2017 and 2018, as well as Kelly Bryant last year. Missouri might have been a disappointing team last season in the final year of the Barry Odom era in Columbia, but Okwuegbunam was one of the highlights to what was a bad year for Missouri Football.

player. Pick Analysis. CB. Notre Dame Fighting Irish. 143. 819. Scouting Report. Troy Pride Jr.

If Atlanta wants to prioritize its defensive line and pass rush in the first two rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Falcons may have to wait until the latter part of round four to get a cornerback. With the No. 143 overall pick they received in the Hurst trade with the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta will use it on Troy Pride Jr. out of the University of Notre Dame.

Pride is 5-foot-11 and 194 pounds. He has played in a bunch of big games as a member of Brian Kelly’s team. He leaves South Bend with 121 total tackles, 18 pass breakups and four interceptions. If Atlanta feels good about emerging stars in its secondary like Kendall Sheffield, Damontae Kazee and Isaiah Oliver, they should feel alright by getting Pride in the fourth round.
