1. Center

Similar to the case with Witten discussed above, Jerry Jones and his team nabbed a long-time starter at center in the 2013 draft. That year, the team selected Travis Frederick out of Wisconsin with the 31st pick in the first round.

Frederick was a mainstay at center for six years. He helped anchor one of the best offensive lines every year, making five Pro Bowls. He was also named an All-Pro once.

The former first-round pick decided to retire this offseason, which has left a big hole on the team’s offensive line.

Of course, asking to replace a player of Frederick’s ability is a unrealistic demand. However, the team may look to use an early pick to try and fill the void left by the former Pro Bowl center.

With Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, the team’s offense has been run heavy and all about possessing the ball. Under Kellen Moore, they opened it up through the air more. But the calling card remains dominating the line of scrimmage with a star-studded offensive line.

Not to mention, Frederick helped Prescott digest defensive coverage and identifying other defensive schemes in game.
