Miami Dolphins 2020 NFL schedule: 5 must-win games
By Matt Conner
Home: New England Patriots
Does anyone know how the New England Patriots are going to look on this side of Tom Brady’s exit? No one questions Bill Belichick’s genius, but any team is going to go through an adjustment period or identity crisis after watching the franchise’s face leave in free agency.
That said, Belichick has been in this position before due to injury and/or suspension to Brady and he’s largely come away unscathed. Whether playing with Matt Cassel or Jimmy Garoppolo, Belichick has found a way to win without Brady over the years. But what if he cannot count on Brady at all? What if the page has been completely turned?
If the Dolphins (or any team for that matter) really wants to make a statement in this new era in the AFC East, this is the year to poke holes in Belichick’s armor and even if each team splits with New England, it’d provide a competitive spark. When the Patriots visit Hard Rock, expect Flores to do everything he can to show up his former boss.
