The AFC South has talent at each position for fantasy football owners to draft but how early should they be drafted?

The AFC South has been a two-team division over the last eight seasons. There are the other two teams looking to make a push and they made some moves this offseason to compete. Fantasy football owners know of the talent in this division. Some players won’t make it out of the second round while many others will find themselves on the bench as bye-week fill-ins.

The Texans made a couple of big trades this offseason. In my opinion, neither of them benefited the team. From a fantasy perspective, one of the newly-acquired players should see a boost to their value. The Colts signed a veteran quarterback to fill a must-needed hole as they look to get back to the top of the division.

The Jaguars made a couple of trades as they look to build upon their young offense. They have some pieces in place that can put up big games. The Titans brought back their end-of-2018 quarterback to help lead this team back to the playoffs. If you’re looking for one or two breakout players, this is the team to look at.

I will be doing a piece for all eight divisions, leading up to (hopefully) week 1 of the 2020 fantasy football season. I will break down the offensive depth charts for each team, let you know which players are worth drafting and which ones you should avoid. I will also include a player I see breaking out due to the moves made this offseason.

Based on your league’s settings, each owner values a player differently. A 2QB league will boost the value of quarterbacks more than a 1QB league will. The same can be said for leagues with multiple flex spots or a super-utility spot.

So, without further ado, here is another 2020 fantasy football breakdown, continuing with the AFC South and the first team up is the Houston Texans.
