17. player. 123. . Edge. Dallas Cowboys. K'Lavon Chaisson

The Dallas Cowboys spent some big money this offseason on the offensive side of the ball, as they signed wide receiver Amari Cooper to a $100 million contract. With a big payday on the horizon for quarterback Dak Prescott as well, the Cowboys had to say goodbye to some of the better players on the defensive side of the ball.

Those players, cornerback Byron Jones and edge rusher Robert Quinn are going to be hard to replace, and the Cowboys try to do so in our latest mock draft. With the No. 17 overall selection, Dallas adds LSU edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson, who could end up being a punishing end at the next level.

Dallas has the talent to get themselves back in the playoff mix next season in what should be a wide open NFC East once again. The Cowboys adding Chaisson fills a void left by Quinn, but the defense will be interesting to watch, especially in the secondary, as they try and get by without a star in Jones.

59. . Offensive Tackle. Miami Dolphins. Josh Jones. 18. player

The Miami Dolphins hold three first round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, but in our latest mock draft, they trade their late first rounder to move up and get Tua Tagovailoa. While losing a first round pick hurts, the Dolphins have a ton of draft capital remaining over the next two seasons, as they also have two first rounders in 2021.

Looking at this roster, it is clear that the Dolphins did a nice job adding to the defensive side of the ball during free agency this offseason. On offense, they added their franchise quarterback early in this mock draft, and here at No. 18, they bring in the guy who will protect his blindside for the next ten years.

Josh Jones is a mountain of a man, and at the next level, he should be able to come in and play on the left side. This is a Dolphins franchise that is revamping the entire roster, and in Tua and Jones, they get some cornerstone players for their offense moving forward.
