2. Michigan Wolverines

Michigan comes in at No.2 on the best NCAA basketball uniforms because they have a simple clean uniform that has enough accents in it to make it look great. The lettering and numbering are normal and they are outlined in white to make it pop off the jersey. It may seem simple also, but the arch of the word Michigan on their jerseys is enough to make a subtle but clean look. This a great look jersey.

They have the classic block M on both pant legs and then they have the nice two-color outline of the collar, sleeves, and pants. The outline on the sleeves is missing in almost every other team in the Big Ten and while it is small it makes a difference.

If we were ranking these uniforms 10 years ago, Michigan would be way down the list. They got caught up in trying to make their uniform look fancy and it did not work for them. Michigan is one of those schools that does not need to mess with something that works and this uniform works. It is the best looking one in the Big Ten and one of the best in the country also.

The one thing they could do is to exclusively wear their Maize uniforms at home. The white is a nice look but the Maize is better. And again we would be treated to color vs color games each Michigan home game and that is always a win in my book.
