1. The Eagles will win 12 games

Philadelphia should be considered the class of the NFC East. The Cowboys are also playoff contenders, but the Redskins and Giant both have the chance to be really bad. That should artificially inflate the Eagles win total in 2020.

The franchise is also a strong candidate for internal improvement. Jeffery and Jackson should play more snaps than they did in 2019. That, combined with Miles Sanders’ natural progression should upgrade the team’s skill players considerably.

The defense is where the big jump forward is going to take place. Adding Slay is a home run piece of business. The signing of Hargrave at defensive tackle is flying under the radar, but it can also pay big dividends. The increased ability of the unit to force turnovers should really power the Eagles to more wins.

Add it all up and this will be one of the most improved teams in all of football. Going from 9 wins to 12 isn’t easy, but that’s what’s coming for the Eagles in 2020. This franchise is ready to resume its place atop the NFC East and among the list of franchises capable of winning a Super Bowl.
