4. DE Shelby Harris

The one-time member of the Oakland Raiders just re-upped with his current employer after being allowed to test the free-agent market this offseason. A seventh-round draft choice by the Silver and Black back in 2015, he re-signed with the Broncos late last month (via Spotrac) to the tune of one-year and $3.25 million.

With the Raiders, Shelby played in a grand total of eight games in two seasons from 2014-15 and total one sack. After not taking the field for a team in 2016, he joined the Broncos in ’17 and has been a solid performer. He’s played in all 48 contests for Denver since, made six starts in his first season with the organization and was a 16-game starter this past year.

Harris comes off a year in which he totaled a career-best 49 tackles and finished third on the team with six sacks, just behind Von Miller (8) and Derek Wolfe (7) – the latter now a member of the Baltimore Ravens. The 6’2”, 290-pound veteran also knocked down nine passes and forced a fumble. And keep in mind that the Broncos added perennial Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jurrell Casey this offseason, meaning Harris could be in for bigger and better things in 2020.
