The Chiefs had one of the quietest offseasons, retaining 21 of their 22 starters from last season. When you win a Super Bowl, it’s hard to improve from that. This team has a lot of talent in the first 60 picks and even some sleeper players later in the draft. Either way, this is an offense you want a few pieces from.

Mahomes had another amazing season. In 14 games, he threw for 4,031 yards, 26 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also carried the ball 43 times for another 218 yards and two scores. He can make outstanding plays and takes care of the ball very well. The only downside is that drafting Mahomes will cost you a third-round pick. If you play in a 1QB league, you can wait on a quarterback but there is a dropoff between Mahomes and the next tier.

Williams and LeSean McCoy rushed each rushed the ball over 100 times for at least 450 yards. Williams had five touchdowns while McCoy had four. Entering this season, McCoy is gone, leaving Williams as a potential three-down back. Thompson will sneak in as a change-of-pace back but won’t have a big impact.

Hill missed four games but was still able to put up 860 yards and seven touchdowns. His speed is unmatched and can make a big play at any point. However, if you look at his game-by-game statline from last season, he isn’t the most consistent option. He’s still a top-five wide receiver. Hardman had a solid first half with 374 yards and four touchdowns while Hill was out. His playing time dwindled in the second half. Watkins is also back in the mix. Those two will be more valuable in PPR leagues and are WR6s.

Kelce is like a top-10 wide receiver in this offense. he led the team with 97 receptions and 1,229 yards. With Hill back for a full season, we may see a small decline in targets and yards but he’s still the No. 1 target for Mahomes. Kelce is the top tight end in the league and will be drafted as such, 16.9 ADP. There is no other tight end worth mentioning on the Chiefs. Depending on your league and team context, he may be worth the second-round pick. However, you can improve another position and draft a solid tight end a few rounds later.
