3. WR Demarcus Robinson

He’s played in every game for Andy Reid’s team since the Kansas City Chiefs made him a fourth-round draft choice back in 2016. Former University of Florida wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has seen his impact on the offense increase the past two years in terms of reaching the end zone.

As a rookie, he toiled on special teams and didn’t see a pass thrown his way. In 2017, he hauled in 21 throws for 21 yards but never reached end zone. During quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ magnificent 2018 showing, Robinson finished with 22 catches for 288 yards and touchdowns.

This past season, he finished fourth on the team with a career-best 32 receptions, good for 449 yards and four touchdowns. In the three-game playoff sweep of the Texans, Titans and 49ers, the four-year pro added three catches for 35 yards but it’s worth noting that he did not start the game or catch a pass in the Super Bowl.

Robinson actually did hit the free-agent market last month but the Chiefs did re-sign the reliable performer to a one-year, $2.2975 million contract (via Spotrac). Admittedly, the team has a loaded wide receiving corps with Tyreek Hill, Sammie Watkins and promising Mecole Hardman. But Robinson’ role continues to increase on offense, a good sign for the defending Super Bowl champions.
