Every team’s best-case scenario in the 2020 NFL Draft
Baltimore Ravens: Replace C.J. Mosley
The Ravens were right not to pay Mosley the contract he received in free agency, but they were wrong not to replace him on the field. Drafting Patrick Queen at No. 28 would add some teeth to the Ravens’ front seven.
Cincinnati Bengals: Don’t screw it up
This is the easiest call of the draft. The Bengals need to keep it simple and take Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick. A trade offer worth considering is not a realistic option.
Cleveland Browns: Trade back and still get a top tackle
The Browns need to use their first-round pick to find a starting left tackle. Mekhi Becton’s recent drug test issue could cause him to slide into the 20s. If Cleveland can find a way to trade down from No. 10 and still come away with Becton it would be great business.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Stay out of Round 1
The Steelers don’t have a pick stemming from last year’s Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. It was a quality move for Pittsburgh. They simply need to resist the temptation to move into the first round to make sure they can be active later in the draft.
