Utah State. player. QB. Jordan Love. 19. 28. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Raiders make a big move. here. After taking C.J. Henderson with the 12th-overall selection, general manager Mike Mayock takes a career-altering cut by selecting Jordan Love out of Utah State. At this spot, the Raiders would be getting ample value.

Many within the league are split on Love. Some point to his lacking supporting cast to explain why he threw for 20 touchdowns and 17 interceptions as a senior with the Aggies in 2019. However, others believe it’s decision-making and lack of awareness. Regardless, the youngster has major potential and the Raiders, saddled with Derek Carr, should make the gamble.

CB. player. Pick Analysis. Clemson. A.J. Terrell. 20. 52. Scouting Report

The Jacksonville Jaguars had one of the best cornerback tandems in the NFL entering last season with Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. Now? Ramsey was dealt to the Los Angeles Rams for two first-round picks (including this one) while Bouye was sent to the Denver Broncos for mid-round capital.

After addressing the offense with their first pic, the Jaguars double back and take care of the defense here. In 2020, playing without an elite cornerback is a problem, and Terrell could solve that problem. At Clemson, Terrell was First-Team All-ACC and notched a pair of interceptions in 2019.
