2020 NFL mock draft: C.J. Henderson, Jordan Love to Raiders
Baun is an ideal fit for the Tennessee Titans, who are somewhat remaking their front seven. After trading defensive tackle Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos for a seventh-round selection, the Titans need to add some pass-rushing prowess. Enter Zack Baun, who notched 12.5 sacks in the Big Ten with the Wisconsin Badgers last year.
Baun would combine with Harold Landry off the edge to provide a quality tandem in a division ripe for winning. Tennessee has a good offense led by receivers A.J. Brown and Corey Davis, and running back Derrick Henry. A tackle isn’t out of the question after losing Jack Conklin, but Baun is the better value at No. 29.
The Green Bay Packers will have a tough choice to make. They could either take a receiver to pair with Davante Adams, nab some defensive support or take the eventual successor to Aaron Rodgers. With the top quarterbacks off the board in this scenario and the receivers being such a deep class, Ross Blacklock fits best.
Blacklock is a 305-pound defensive tackle who should thrive alongside Kenny Clark on the inside. The Packers already have an elite tandem on the edges with Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith, but could use a run-stuffer who also pushes the pocket. Blacklock is ideal for those needs, notching 5.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss over the past two seasons at TCU.
