CeeDee Lamb. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Oklahoma. 9. player

If the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to make Gardner Minshew a success story, they need to surround him with weapons. Jacksonville could go a slew of directions considering its rebuild, but taking the best receiver in a historic class is a good start. Enter CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb dominated the Big 12 with the Oklahoma Sooner over the past few seasons, and would immediately provide Minshew with an electric threat on the outside. Combined with emerging star D.J. Chark, and the Jaguars can scare defenses.

There’s reason to believe Jacksonville goes with a cornerback here or even an offensive tackle, but the priority needs to be making Minshew successful. Lamb has the most upside in that regard.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Georgia. player. 53. OT. Andrew Thomas. 10

The Cleveland Browns are going to take a left tackle. In this scenario, it’s only a question of Andrew Thomas or Mekhi Becton.

Thomas has the better tape and played in the SEC against one dominant defender after the next. There’s little doubt he’s going to be a good pro provided his health holds up. Becton, while a physical specimen, doesn’t have quite the same reel.

First-time general manager Andrew Berry will need to make sure he lands the right player here. Protecting Baker Mayfield’s blindside is his top priority, and Thomas should help solidify the position for a decade.
