15. 45. LSU. Pick Analysis. WR. Justin Jefferson. player. Scouting Report

The Denver Broncos are in a tough spot here. Do they reach a bit for a receiver or do they take the best player available? By all accounts, general manager John Elway would love to pair a dynamic playmaker with Courtland Sutton and second-year tight end Noah Fantasias. However, with Lamb, Jeudy and Ruggs all off the board, he’s forced to decide.

Enter Justin Jefferson. Jefferson has been incredibly impressive throughout the draft process and was terrific at LSU on last year’s national champion. He totaled 111 catches for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns, showcasing tremendous red-zone skills. While this might be a few picks early for Jefferson, his production and upside warrants such a decision.

Scouting Report. DT. Javon Kinlaw. 44. Pick Analysis. South Carolina. 16. player

There’s been noise about the Atlanta Falcons moving up the board. If general manager Thomas Dimitroff can pull a trade, maybe he’s looking at adding a cornerback to replace Desmond Trufant. Maybe he’s thinking about one of the top offensive tackles. Or, maybe, he’s thinking about Javon Kinlaw.

Kinlaw was one of the best interior defensive linemen in the country and would be an immediate upgrade to a team deficient on both sides of the ball. In a division with Drew Brees and Tom Brady — two great but immobile quarterbacks — being able to push the pocket is a necessary plus. Kinlaw provides Atlanta with said trait.
