Tennessee Titans 2020 NFL schedule: 5 must-win games
By Matt Conner
Home: Buffalo Bills
The Bills game is right in line with the Steelers contest. It’s a chance to host a potential postseason opponent during the regular season and learn as much as possible. It’s also a chance to knock them down a rung in the playoff picture.
Josh Allen is bound to be excited about an offseason in which Stefon Diggs was added to the roster, and it will be interesting to see how much of a leap forward the offense makes in Allen’s third season. Pressure can often force Allen to make poor decisions, but with a top-tier target to go to for the first time, perhaps he can reign in those mistakes.
The Bills now boast a nice array of pass catchers along with the presence of Devin Singletary in the backfield, and the defense for Buffalo has been stout for the last couple years. Any victory against Buffalo will require a total team effort, although the talent on the roster is certainly not elite by any means.
Basically it will require the Titans to avoid making mistakes, force a couple by the other side, and play smart football on both sides. Doing so will put them in the driver’s seat in the AFC.
