1. Dalvin Cook will rush for over 1,500 yards

The loss of Diggs is going to cause a philosophical shift for the Vikings offense. Quite simply, Zimmer is going to urge his coaching staff to commit even more to the run game in 2020.

That’s great news for Cook if he can stay healthy. He managed to stay healthy long enough to carry the ball 250 times in 14 games last year. That bodes well for his chances to do even more in 2020.

The prediction here is that Zimmer will ride Cook until he can’t go any longer. That means he’ll push 300 carries on the campaign. His ability to make big plays gives him a great chance to break the five yards per carry mark on the year. That would allow him to break 1,500 yards on the ground.
