3. Joe Thomas

Thomas was a 10-time Pro Bowler and a six-time All-Pro left tackle over 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Only an injury-shortened final season in 2017 prevented him from going 11-for-11 on Pro Bowl nods in his career.

Thomas seems very content in retirement, moving into a role in media as an analyst for NFL Network and a podcast co-host. He has also, as offensive lineman always do after calling it a career in the interest of their long-term health, shed substantial weight after playing at over 300 pounds.

But despite his own excellence Thomas never tasted winning in Cleveland, and his sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Fame resume lacks a Super Bowl ring.

The Buccaneers could use some reinforcements at offensive tackle, and they’re likely to come out of the draft with one. But if a proven commodity were out there….

Thomas would have to start adding weight back on soon. But he would have to give some serious thought to unretiring and joining Brady in Tampa Bay if it was on the table.
