10. RB Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin

A two-time Doak Walker Award winner, Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor has been overlooked all draft season. The biggest knock on the Badgers super star is his heavy workload, as worries mounted that he won’t hold up long in the NFL. That shouldn’t be the case though.

Taylor was impactful right away as a freshman earning second-team Associated Press All-American, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and Doak Walker Award finalist honors in 2017. That year he had 299 carries, 1,977 yards, and 13 touchdowns on the ground. He added eight receptions and 95 yards in the passing game.

The next season he was even better, winning the first of his Doak Walker Awards.  He led the FBS with 2,194 rushing yards that year. Of course, Taylor had another heavy workload and a productive season in his final year at Wisconsin. Taylor won the Doak Walker Award again. He was also a first-team Associated Press All-American and Big Ten Running Back of the Year after gaining 2,003 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns on 320 carries.

Jonathan Taylor has all the makings of a productive running back, and some NFL team should take a leap of faith in selecting him on day two of the 2020 NFL Draft.
