Neville Gallimore is another great pick for the Cowboys who get their second player from Oklahoma in the first three rounds. Gallimore ran a 4.8 40 at the Combine to open a lot of eyes. He’s a good enough athlete but he doesn’t always flash those traits on the film.

That’s why he’s available in the third round, however. If it wasn’t Kenneth Murray making plays for the Oklahoma defense the last few years, it was likely Gallimore who was often in the middle of things.

The 6-foot-2, 304-pound Gallimore should be served well by watching veterans Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe go about their business. Gallimore should be soaking up everything they do in film study to offseason training to how they practice to how they get after it on Sunday. Gallimore may not be an immediate starter but expect him to be in the rotation for the Cowboys.
