Best pick: Okudah

If you’re picking third in the draft, that player better end up being your best pick. Detroit nailed it taking Okudah and he should be a starter for the next decade and immediately garner consideration for the Pro Bowl and sooner than later All-Pro recognition. Ohio State turns out cornerbacks unlike any other school and may have surpassed LSU as DBU in college football. Okudah looks like the best cornerback prospect since Patrick Peterson a decade ago.

Worst pick: Logan Stenberg, OG, Kentucky

This isn’t necessarily an indictment on Stenberg. He helped pave the way for Benny Snell two years ago and comes from a tough and competitive conference where defensive linemen grow on trees in the SEC. I just wonder if taking guards with back-to-back picks was the wisest investment of draft capital.
