4th Round

RB. Florida. 30. Pick Analysis. La'Mical Perine. 120. player. Scouting Report

New York will no longer have to rely solely on Le’Veon Bell in the running game. Florida’s La’Mical Perine is a more than capable depth back that should help lighten the load. He will not be a starter in the NFL, but he has the skills to have a long career.

Scouting Report. 125. player. 30. Pick Analysis. QB. Florida International. James Morgan

With Sam Darnold cemented as the starter, the Jets surely view Morgan as a backup in the NFL. All teams need a capable backup, and the former FIU standout will be just that for Adam Gase. If he develops into more than that, he becomes a great trade piece in the future.

30. Scouting Report. Cameron Clark. Charlotte. 129. player. Pick Analysis. OT

Depth pieces are needed in the NFL across the offensive line as injuries always happen. Cameron Clark was not among the top options or names in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he is a player that should make the Jets initial 53-man roster this season.

5th Round

player. CB. Virginia. Bryce Hall. 158. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30

Virginia’s Bryce Hall is a wide receiver turned cornerback. He uses instinctive footwork and long arms to close out and challenge throws his way. He lacks fluidity at the position, but with more time on defense that could change. Hall will be a key special teams player for the Jets with opportunities to move up the depth chart over time.

6th Round

P. Braden Mann. player. 30. Pick Analysis. 191. Scouting Report. Texas A&M

The first punter taken in the 2020 NFL Draft is headed to the Big Apple. Braden Mann from Texas A&M will be a member of the Jets. His only competition will be Ian Berryman. Mann set the NCAA record with 51.0 yards per punt, placing 19-of-50 punts inside the 20-yard line and forcing 11 fair catches in 2017.
