1. Dallas Cowboys

Draft Class

  • 1st round-WR CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma)
  • 2nd round-CB Trevon Diggs (Alabama)
  • 3rd round-DT Neville Gallimore (Oklahoma)
  • 4th round-CB Reggie Robinson II (Tulsa), C Tyler Biadasz (Wisconsin)
  • 5th round-DE Bradlee Anae (Utah)
  • 7th round-QB Ben DiNucci (James Madison)

Jerry Jones may want to draft from his yacht every year after seeing how well the Dallas Cowboys fared in the virtual draft. The hits came right from the start when CeeDee Lamb fell right into Dallas’ lap at no. 17 overall.

Lamb was widely considered the best receiver in the class, making it irresistible value for the Cowboys. Wide receiver wasn’t necessarily the biggest need for Dallas, but the opportunity to add Lamb to their offense was simply too good to pass up.

Dallas’ good fortune extended into the second round when cornerback Trevon Diggs fell to them. Diggs was someone the Cowboys may have taken in the first round, so the opportunity to get him a full round later provides tremendous value.

Jones also did good work with value picks later in the draft, adding Tyler Biadasz and Bradlee Anae on Day 3 when both could have easily been Day 2 picks. This home-run class makes the Cowboys the favorites in the NFC East and the biggest winner of the 2020 NFL Draft.
