Another year, another excellent draft for the Baltimore Ravens. Eric DeCosta continued his wizardry over the draft process by extracting maximum value from his picks, including LSU linebacker Patrick Queen in the first round.
Queen was a late riser after a strong year at LSU where he showcased strong tackling and coverage skills. After losing a pair of inside linebackers in free agency Baltimore can turn to Queen as a day one starter.
The Ravens also scored some tremendous value in the second round when Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins fell to them in the second round. Dobbins should pair nicely with Mark Ingram to further enhance Baltimore’s elite rushing attack.
DeCosta also made excellent use of his mid-round picks, snagging solid value plays in Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay, Ohio State linebacker Malik Harrison, and SMU wide receiver James Proche. The Ravens once again demonstrated why they are a sustained winner as they continued to draft well in the virtual format.
