3. Away: Los Angeles Rams

The Rams and Cowboys will play each other in what will be a battle of the best in the NFC. Last year, Dallas routed the Rams at home by a score of 44-21. Elliott ran for 117 yards and his counterpart Tony Pollard ripped off 131 yards of his own.

Before that, the Rams took back-to-back meetings. One in Dallas in 2017, and the other out in Los Angeles in the Divisional round of the 2018 playoffs.

Sean McVay’s team will be much different this time around. Specifically, no Todd Gurley at running back and new faces playing key defensive positions.

McCarthy’s club probably has the upper hand on paper. While the Rams have regressed a bit, the Cowboys still boast one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the NFL.

Going on the road and labeling a game a “must win” is hard to do. However, this is a scenario where the Cowboys have to go and announce themselves.

In years past, this is a game the team probably looks unprepared for and drops. In order for everyone to respect and buy into Dallas, McCarthy and Prescott in 2020, these games have to be wins.
