1. Mike Evans will catch 20 touchdowns

The closest thing Brady has to Gronkowski on this roster isn’t a tight end. Instead, it’s Mike Evans at the wide receiver position.

NFL defenders already know how just difficult he is to cover down the field. Evans uses his size and body to shield defenders and pluck deep passes out of the air with ease. It’s not an exaggeration to say that he might have the biggest catch radius of any receiver Brady’s ever had the opportunity to work with.

Brady doesn’t need that sort of margin for error. That means he’ll feel empowered to take a ton of shots down the field to Evans even when he appears to be covered. The idea of throwing a receiver open is going to be embodied by Brady to Evans in 2020.

Next. Have the Buccaneers surrounded Tom Brady with enough talent?. dark

Brady is going to work especially hard to get Evans the ball in the red zone. He’s going to put on a show in terms of scoring touchdowns in 2020. Give him 20 on the season. That’s a big jump from the nine times he found pay dirt in 2019, but he’s going to be the biggest beneficiary of Brady’s move to Tamp Bay.
