1. Nick Bosa will get 15 sacks

The 49ers didn’t want to let DeForest Buckner go, but Bosa’s ability to become a dominant edge rusher was a big reason why they reluctantly agreed to trade him. This season will be Bosa’s coming out party.

Last year he posted a totally respectable tally of nine sacks during the regular season. The departure of Buckner is going to heap more pressure on Bosa in 2020. Fortunately for the ‘Niners, he has the talent to leverage that pressure into becoming a diamond.

It’s crucial to remember that Bosa is still just 22-years-old. He’s just scratching the surface of what he can become as an NFL edge rusher. 49ers’ defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is going to help him take another leap forward this year. Look for him to add even more powerful edge rushing moves to his repertoire.

Combine that with the speed moves he already boasts and it’s easy to see why he’s in line for a big season. Opponents will double team him frequently but it’s not going to matter. Bosa is going to lead this defense with 15 or more sacks. It’s time for him to blossom into an All-Pro.
