3. Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

Moses lost the 2019 season to a torn ACL in August, and after apparently still receiving a second-round draft grade for this year he ultimately decided to come back to Alabama for his senior season. He was a finalist for the Butkus Award as a sophomore in 2018, as he led the Crimson Tide with 86 total tackles (10 tackles for loss, three sacks), so if healthy and productive again in 2020 Moses is a virtual  lock to be a 2021 first-round pick.

The Packers lost tackle machine Blake Martinez in free agency this year, and replaced him via the bargain bin with Christian Kirksey on a two-year deal. The draft presented an opportunity to notably add to the linebacker group, but only one was taken, in the fifth round (Kamal Martin). Looking now toward the 2021 offseason and draft, Green Bay will still need a talent infusion at inside linebacker.

Moses is in line to be no worse than the second-ranked inside linebacker in the 2021 draft class. Depending somewhat on where they are picking in the first round, perhaps very late if things go ideally in 2020, the Packers should be ready to take him.
