Onyeka Okongwu. 8. player. Pick Analysis. 6-foot-8 | C. USC. Scouting Report. 170

Okongwu may have passed James Wiseman even in the NBA’s eyes by now, as he enjoyed a standout season at USC while Wiseman remained largely inactive. His defensive floor is probably the highest in the draft, and he may be the readiest rookie to contribute to an NBA team day one. His instincts should help him be one of the better undersized rim protectors in the game for a long time. Charlotte would be lucky to get Okongwu at No. 8.
