3. Alec Ogletree, LB

After a promising start to his career with the (then) St. Louis Rams, Alec Ogletree spent the past two years with the Giants. He’s done okay there and at age 28, Ogletree still has a lot in the tank for whatever team signs him in free agency. No he’s not in his prime anymore, but he’s still capable of some big plays here and there.

Teams that need a linebacker and failed to address the position in the draft could use someone like Ogletree. The Panthers might be a nice fit for Ogletree, as their defense was terrible last year and even if not super effective against the run anymore, he’s worth a look.

2. Joe Flacco, QB

The Joe Flacco experiment in Denver didn’t go very well, as the long-time Baltimore Raven started just eight games and only threw for 1,822 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions. He was eventually “benched” (or injured?) in favor of second round rookie Drew Lock and never won his job back.

Flacco’s 35-years old, and after suffering multiple injuries, so he isn’t a starter anymore. He shouldn’t necessarily be out of the league, however, as he could provide a team with a reliable backup. Just because his one season with the Broncos didn’t go well, Flacco deserves a shot with another team.
