1 Greg Olsen will lead the team in catches

The bold part of this prediction is calling for Olsen to stay healthy for a full 16-game season. If he can stay on the field in Seattle, he’ll easily become one of Wilson’s favorite receivers.

The connection between the two cerebral players will be so strong that Olsen will actually lead the team in receptions. It’ll be a close battle between he, Lockett and Metcalf, but look for the wily tight end to grind out a narrow victory.

Remember, Seattle is one of the few teams in the NFL that still wants to win the time of possession battle on a regular basis. That requires Wilson to keep the chains moving on short and intermediate throws. That’s where Olsen does his best work.

Olsen isn’t a player the Seahawks can build around for the future, but he’s absolutely a guy who can help them win games immediately. If he stays healthy he’s in line for one more big season. Wilson needs that to happen if he’s going to drag this offense to a NFC West crown in 2020.
