Final record: 10-6

With a new head coach, the Dallas Cowboys will be at least two wins better in 2020. Last season they should have been better and ended up going only 8-8.

Mike McCarthy will get the Cowboys back into the playoffs with another NFC East divisional title.

Winning at home is something the team did well last year and will continue to do in 2020. The home slate is much easier then the road schedule, where the team may only scrape together three wins.

The most important part is going 5-1 within the division again. Like last year, they will most likely drop one to the Eagles. Unlike last year, they will make up for against other teams on the schedule.

Offensively, consistency is key. This year, Prescott and the offense need to be able to compete each game. Last season, the inconsistency on offense was stark.

McCarthy also brought new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan to replace Rod Marinelli.

Marinelli had coached the defense to success in the past, but last year this side of the ball was concerning.  Nolan can get this group back to the elite form they played in for the majority of the 2018 season.
