4. Home: Green Bay Packers

It’s been a minute since the Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers have played a meaningful game. The old NFC Central rivals last met in 2017, with Green Bay winning 26-20 in overtime at Lambeau Field despite Aaron Rodgers sitting out of the contest due to injury.

The Packers are one of the NFC’s elite teams at the moment, having come just a game shy of the Super Bowl last season. A strong defense and the steady presence of Rodgers under center should have Green Bay right in the hunt for the NFC’s Super Bowl bid once again.

Tampa Bay should feel much better about its chances of matching up with Green Bay now that Brady is wearing a pewter jersey this season. Brady is one of the few quarterbacks in football capable of winning a head-to-head duel with Rodgers, and it helps that Brady has a much better supporting cast.

Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Cameron Brate should be well-equipped to challenge the Packers’ linebackers and defensive backs. Tampa Bay’s underrated defense should also help contain a Green Bay offense that is limited on playmakers outside of Davante Adams and Aaron Jones.

The fact that this game is in Tampa will be a tremendous help in the Buccaneers’ bid to score an upset. A win here could prove to be very important in postseason tiebreakers for Tampa Bay.
