 2. Logan Ryan

The Jets added plenty of depth to their secondary, which was an area that was very thin at times last year.

Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye feature as two playmakers at safety, but the same can’t be said at corner. Blessaun Austin and Arthur Maulet were pleasant surprises after the benching of Trumaine Johnson and injury to Darryl Roberts. Although overachieving, the team still needs a leader at the position.

A great fit would be former Titan and Patriot, Logan Ryan. Ryan was all over the field last season, accumulating 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and four interceptions. He proved to be a game-changer for Mike Vrabel’s defense, which included a game-ending pick-six of Tom Brady in the Wild Card round.

Ryan would bring plenty of AFC East experience, playing for the Patriots for four seasons, which includes two Super Bowl rings. In Tennessee, he was the team’s vocal leader on defense, echoing Vrabel’s weekly message. Adding Ryan would bring another do-it-all player in the secondary to add to additions Davis and Hall.
