1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints)

2019 Stats: 74.3% completion rate, 2,979 yards, 27 touchdowns, 4 interceptions

This may be the last rodeo for Drew Brees with the New Orleans Saints and it could definitely be a fun ride. Despite missing five games with a thumb injury last season, Brees led the league in completion percentage, the third straight year he has done that.

Brees has played some of his best football as he enters his 40s and some of the credit for that has to go to the way the Saints have helped him out. New Orleans has invested heavily in Brees’ supporting cast, bolstering the offensive line and surrounding him with a strong running game as well as excellent receivers.

The result of that effort is that Brees has been able to maintain elite play and make the Saints an NFC powerhouse for the past three years. New Orleans has come up short in the playoffs in each year, but that has hardly been the fault of Brees.

The NFL’s toughest quarterback division right now is the NFC South and its top passer is still Brees, who is looking to go out on top with a second Super Bowl ring. The passing games in the division are top-notch and fantasy football players will love watching four of the league’s best passers go to work in the NFC South this season.
