PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Eagles fans can claim they don’t want this to happen all they want (Clowney was the one who knocked Carson Wentz out of the Wild Card game earlier this year), but if Philly were to sign Clowney, they’d be bouncing off the walls.

Defensive line has been a big part of the Eagles over the years and helped win them a Super Bowl just two years ago. Since then, however, injuries have ravaged the line and they’ve honestly failed to keep it respectable. Jadeveon Clowney would change that. He’d be the impact playmaker they need along that defensive front.

The Eagles have expressed interest in Clowney too, as Mark Berman tweeted on Tuesday, so this wouldn’t be a shocking move to make. Throw in that Philadelphia has the cap space to make it happen and Clowney could very well be joining the team who he helped eliminate from the playoffs just four months ago.

If the Eagles want to get back to the Super Bowl any time soon, they need to fixate on the defensive side of the ball. Signing Clowney would be the best move they could make this offseason.
