2. WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Right after last season, Beckham underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury he played through. But there’s no denying 2019 was a hugely disappointing campaign, as he never developed rapport with Baker Mayfield on his way to 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns. Volume was not the issue, with 133 targets, but his dismal 55.6 catch rate is a huge concern regardless of the circumstances.

Trade rumors persist around Beckham, and no matter what anyone in the Browns’ organization says that speculation will never go away for long. On May 4, Beckham posted a video showing how healthy he is and professing that 2020 will be one of his best seasons and “this is my time.”

Beckham missed 12 games due to a fractured ankle in 2017 and four more due to a quad injury in 2018, before playing while hurt pretty substantially last year. It’s hard to firmly call 2020 a make-or-break year for him, but Beckham needs to be healthy and up his game if the Browns are going to reach their ceiling.
